Day 1: Arrival in Lucerne, Switzerland
Welcome to Switzerland! Upon arrival, you’ll take a rail transfer to Lucerne, a charming city set on Lake Lucerne and surrounded by majestic mountains. Lucerne, a popular destination in central Switzerland, is renowned for its scenic beauty, souvenir and watch shops, and nearby excursion mountains like Rigi, Pilatus, and Stanserhorn. To truly experience the area, embark on a boat cruise on Lake Lucerne. Day 2: Mount Titlis and Engelberg Excursion
Today, journey to Mount Titlis, a 3000-meter peak offering breathtaking panoramic views. Visit Engelberg en route and explore the highlights at the summit: restaurants with sun terraces, the Glacier Cave (free admission), and the “Titlis Cliff Walk”—Europe’s highest suspension footbridge. Experience eternal snow and ice, and take a ride on the Ice Flyer chairlift, which offers spectacular views over the glacier. The Glacier Park, a free attraction, adds to the excitement. Return for an overnight stay in Lucerne.
Day 3: Transfer to Interlaken and Lake Cruise
Travel by train to Interlaken and check in at your hotel. In the afternoon, enjoy a scenic cruise on Lakes Thun and Brienz, where a fleet of 14 boats, including two paddle steamers, offer stunning views of the Bernese Oberland’s mountain landscapes. Later, visit Schilthorn at 2970 meters, where you can enjoy a 360-degree panoramic view of the Swiss skyline, including Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau, and a meal at the revolving restaurant Piz Gloria. Continue with a train journey from Interlaken Ost to Lauterbrunnen, and then a PostBus ride to the valley station Stechelberg. Overnight in Interlaken.
Day 4: Jungfraujoch – Top of Europe
Embark on a memorable journey to Jungfraujoch via Grindelwald and Lauterbrunnen. The Jungfrau Railway takes you to Europe’s highest-altitude railway station at 3454 meters above sea level, located in the UNESCO World Heritage site “Swiss Alps Jungfrau-Aletsch.” Experience the impressive tunnel journey, with stops offering spectacular glacier views through windows in the Eiger North Face. At the summit, marvel at the Ice Palace, and the viewing platforms “Sphinx” and “Plateau” on the Aletsch Glacier. Return to Interlaken for an overnight stay.
Day 5: Transfer to Zurich
Travel by train to Zurich, Switzerland’s largest city. Day 6: Discover the Heidi World and Surroundings
Start with a city tour of Zurich before heading to Rapperswil, known as the “City of Roses.” Explore its picturesque Old Town and Medieval Castle. Continue through the panoramic Ricken Pass and arrive in Toggenburg, perfect for photo opportunities with its rolling hills and valleys. Visit Vaduz, the capital of Liechtenstein, with time to visit the post office for coveted stamps. In Maienfeld, explore Heidi’s village, a setting for the famous stories. During winter, visit Werdenberg with its historic houses and castle. Conclude with a scenic return to Zurich along Lake Walen. Overnight in Zurich.
Day 7: Northern Switzerland and Black Forest Excursion
Embark on a tour to Northern Switzerland and the Black Forest in Southern Germany. Discover Titisee, the heart of the Black Forest, and learn about cuckoo clock production. Enjoy free time to explore, take a boat ride, or taste local specialties like Black Forest Cake. Drive through the spruce forests and stop at Rhine Falls, Europe’s largest waterfall. Optional boat cruises are available. Return to Zurich by modern coach for your overnight stay.
Day 8: Departure from Zurich

Today enjoy Jungfraujoch via grindelwald and Lauterbrunnen. For more than 100 years, the Jungfrau railway has been making its journey to Europe’s highest-altitude railway station at 3454 metres a.s.l. – right at the heart of the UNESCO heritage site “Swiss Alps Jungfrau-Aletsch”. All through the year, the cog railway runs steeply up through a tunnel to the Jungfraujoch from Kleine Scheidegg. The tunnel leading up from the station Eigergletscher is seven kilometres in length and was built between 1896 and 1912. One stop within the tunnel offers spectacular views onto the glacier world outside through windows in the Eiger North Face. On the summit, visitors are greeted by a high-Alpine wonder world made of ice, snow and rocks. All of this can be marvelled at from the viewing platforms “Sphinx” and “Plateau” on the Aletsch glacier or from the “Ice Palace”. Return & Overnight in Interlaken

Visit the incredible world of Heidi. It’s a world of mountains and valleys, alpine lakes and meadows, waterfalls, gorges, caves, and fascinating scenic reserves. After first completing a city tour of Zurich we will follow Lake Zurichto Rapperswil, the city of roses. We will visit the picturesque Old Town and its Medieval Castle. You will also have some free time to explore here. After crossing the Ricken Pass with its panoramic views of the Alps we will reach the lovely Toggenburg region, whose pretty hills and valley scenery is the perfect photo opportunity! In Vaduz, the capital of the tiny principality of Liechtenstein, you will have more free tim. A visit to the post office is recommended; the famous stamps from this tiny state are coveted worldwide by philatelists and amateur stamp lovers alike. Later we will arrive at Maienfeld, the setting for the Heidi stories. In the summer months you can visit Heidi’s village. A short walk leads to a collection of picturesque mountain houses, a village shop, and of course lots of little goats. Entry into the authentic Heidi House is optional. During winter season Heidi's village is closed. We will show you the oldest houses of Switzerland in Werdenberg, which is famous for its beautiful castle. Finally, we will take a beautiful trip back to Zurich along the banks of Lake Walen, guarded by the majestic Churfirsten mountain range, ending your lovely, nostalgic Swiss tour. Overnight in Zurich.
Today An excursion to Northern Switzerland and the Black Forest, this tour brings you to one of the most attractive landscapes of Southern Germany. Going along Lake Schluchsee we will reach Titisee, the very heart of the Black Forest. You will get a short introduction into how they make the popular cuckoo clocks sing, followed by some free time to explore on your own. Perhaps you wish to take a boat ride or enjoy the local food; the most well-known speciality is the Black Forest Cake, made with cherry brandy. We'll drive through impressive spruce forests, passing by Lenzkirch as you return to Switzerland. There we will stop to admire the Rhine Falls, Europe's largest and most spectacular waterfalls. There is enough time to take an optional cruise. Enjoy! Afterwards we will return to Zurich by modern coach. Overnight in Zurich.
